Liam went to mass for the first time today. He behaved really well! He was excited to see his cousins and uncles, as well as Grandma and Great Grandpa.
Liam even was blessed by Father Craig.
Liam then took a trip to the movies with daddy. We didn't really want to bring him out, but I was working and the theater wasn't packed at all. He didn't even cry once, and enjoyed the feature of Reel Steal, and let daddy enjoy it as well!!
Talk about a day of firsts!
Attention: Liam has begun to laugh.
Its this cute baby chuckle, where he forget how to breathe and laugh at the same time. The look on his scrunched face when he does it is priceless. It kind of ends in this shocked look, as if to say..."did that noise come from me???" I'm ultimately proud of my big 10 week old boy.
He's also holding up his own head, but he still resembles a short statue with a wobbly head on the dashboard of cars...were working on it. Slowly but surely.
Oh and his visit with the neurologist went well. MRI in two months to take a look at his brain and all. He's doing great developmentally for a NICU baby, and just any baby in general. Now is the point where we have to wait to see what the damage is.
And wait. And wait. And....wait. With waiting like a cloud over my head, I think ill just enjoy my baby for now!
We just had his two month check up! Liam weighs 13lbs 4oz and is 23 and a half inches long. Apparently they messed up last time. Oh well.
His head is 16 inches around! Can you believe that I gave birth to a 15 inch head? Yeah, me either. Liam had 5 shots today and he did so well!
HIGH FIVE LIAM!
Liam is now 8 weeks old! He is getting bigger and bigger everyday. He now has outgrown anything newborn sized, and I had to begin the process of putting all of those clothes away. Some of them, he barely even wore! Or never did! (Let's not get into logistics of WHY)
He is wearing 0 to 3, but depending on the maker of the clothing, it fits him funny. He's not chubby, just long and skinny. So unless something is 8 inches wide and 25 inches long, my poor kid looks like a ragamuffin.
Last night, we graduated into size 2 diapers. I don't know if were friends with them just yet. I honestly, feel that size 2 Huggies leak too much. But who knows if its user error or not. (David vs me..haha)
Liam got to go to Africa the other day! Well, sort of. Although he wasn't an active participant, he was within 5 feet of two giant Grizzly bears, 6 feet of 5 Tigers, and next to the most rainbow colored parrot. We saw and fed Prarie Dogs, and then as a souvenir we bought him flash cards of the animals!
He's starting to reach now. If he wants to be picked up, his little arms kind of jerk upwards. Its the cutest thing. I can't wait for him to get bigger and explore the world. But for now, he can be my little boy!
That's all in the life of a leebug. He has no stats since his appt is next week. =)
Well, six weeks bigger. He met his first cousin Cohen, for the first time on Sunday! Cohen was born on October 2nd at 321am, weighing 7lbs 8oz and was 20inches long. He's a tiny little man! And gorgeous!
The experience was wonderful, and I couldn't be more thrilled that I was able to witness the miracle of his birth! I'm so excited for the boys to grow and get to learn new things together!

On another note, I go back to work in fifteen minutes and Liam and I are NOT happy!
