Teef

Liam has teef! Two bottoms to be exact. They first made their initial appearance last week. But after a few really high fevers and sleepless night (only 3) those sharpies have taken it upon themselves to show ( and hurt my fingers!). I'm excited for the next step in Liam growing, but I will miss those toothless smiles that have melted my heart for the past 6 months.

Liam also can sit by himself now. He tries so hard to crawl, but his legs haven't gotten the memo. So hell lean forward to crawl, and ends up on the floor flipping over and over off of his blankets, then gets angry and yells.

We also took him swimming for the first time over the weekend. I will post pictures soon!

And that's about it, in the Life of a Leebug.

6 Months Old! And other adventures.

Firstr off, I must say I cannot believe that my son is 6 months old. And what a sweet boy he is!! Part of me wants my somewhat itty bitty baby back, but the other part of me absolutely loves how much of a little boy he is that I am getting to learn with and know. I'm torn with this whole growing business. He does keep me busy these days! I can never sit down and write anymore, because he always wants to do something! Whether it be playing on the mat, on top of Mommy or Daddy, or being sung to sleep...he needs me so much that I can never blog!

I apologize that it has taken so long to post on here. Life has been nonstop for quite some time, and you'd think by having a blogging App on my phone that this whole thing would be easier, but its not.

Liam has had quite a busy month! Like really! He visited the east coast last week, and then the day after getting back, drove to the west coast. He got to see his Grandpa again after 5 months, and meet some family members he hasn't met yet. Then, he enjoyed sight seeing in California, as well as going to Disneyland!

Liam is quite the traveler. No really, all in a matter of a week he had his first plane ride, first snow, first ocean, first trip to Disneyland, and first cold! He was in some major pieces of History in the US! Those including The Queen Mary, Hollywood, and the Santa Monica Pier. He even got to see a Seal for the first time at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA!

I'm including some pictures for ya'll. His 6 month stats are pretty cool. Lets see, he weighs 18lbs 14oz, his 29 inches tall, his favorite veggies are Sweet Potatoes and Squash, and he is obsessed with Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal like its baby crack. He is growing so much and is learning how to express his emotions..which means when hes unhappy - he yells a lot. But he is also developing such an amazing and awesome personality that I cannot wait to see unfurl!!

Below, is Liam on the Queen Mary, looking out of the ship's window.

Here is Liam ordering lunch aboard the King's Den on the Queen Mary.

Liam is high chair status officially.

Liam and Kyler, really excited to be going to Disneyland!

Trying on Bunny Ears for Easter. Liam didn't like them.

Silly baby tried to take off his hat and glasses!

Liam is at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Behind us is  Pacific Ocean Sea Bass. The fish was bigger than Liam!

This is Liam's first time touching the sand. At the Santa Monica Pier!

Giving us a thumbs down with a sad face. For the record, 6 month old Liam does NOT like the ocean or the sand that comes with it. Are you sure hes my child?

Trying to take off his sunglasses.

Not succeeding at taking off his glasses nor getting out of sand.

5 Months Old! (With pics)

Today, the bug is 5 months old.

He is currently sitting behind me playing with one of his favorite toys, a car simulation thingy that sings to him. He's obsessed with the freaking thing. Liam is a pretty happy baby, unless he is stuck lying down or on his tummy. He loves sitting up, and while he can still sit up by himself for like 10 seconds, he falls. Or, he will tripod himself (its quite funny to watch and see) and kind of try to sit like that for awhile.

God forbid the child has to lie down, he goes crazy. He has great abs that allow him to pull himself halfway up, but he can't quite figure out how to get his lower half to cooperate just yet.

Milestones:

Liam now eats cereal twice a day, and two ounces of pear juice. (Per ped)
He is fully formula fed.
He scoots when he wants a toy.
He can roll over from side to side.
When he is angry, he says Mom.
Okay, it's more like "MOMOMOMOMOMOMMMMM"
He can also sit himself up...sometimes...and if he really wants to.

He is approx 27 inches long and 18lbs. I say approx because my measurements are nothing near the drs normally.

Enjoy some pictures from his 5 month photo shoot!!

Please only repost pictures with permission from me, unless you are family.

Thanks! And that is the Life of a Leebug.

Til the next milestone..

Oh the bug...

I don't have much of an update for Liam this week.

He will be five months old next week, and I will update then. But for the most part, Liam is doing great. He is laughing, talking (babytalk), trying to sit up and lighting every moment in our lives!

His milestone this week? He can drip from a sippy cup! We give him applejuice once a day to help him poop. TMI, I know, but I gotta help the poor kid and his toosh!

Until later in the week...

Can you say seereeuhl?

Thats right Liam had cereal today for the first time. And boy was he ready!!! I kind of let him tell me when he was ready, and since hes almost 5 months I just watched for his cues. Which were...moving his tongue around and reaching for everyones food. He can also hold himself up for 8 seconds! Eeeek!

Today he had 2 tablespoons mixed with breastmilk. His first spoonful he didnt know what to do with it, and he kind of got super excited and kicked his little feet all around. But after that first one he even tried to take the spoon from me and help put it in his mouth.

Sigh. My little boy is growing up so much...its heartbreaking. He is also on his last two days of breastmilk and he is handling the switch well. Maybe in two weeks we will start veggies!

Until then...thats the life of a Leebug.

Liam's First Christmas!

The day was pretty uneventful. David and I both had to work so Liam got to spend time with his cousin Cohen! And Aunt Becky and Uncle Markie. He had a blast! He was so tired he slept pretty much all night.

When I came home it was time to open the presents. Liam already had opened most of his presents from Aunt Ashley and everyone else. But he had presents from Santa and Aunt Dana and Grandpa Danny left that he hadn't opened. (The ones wrapped).

We sat him down in my lap and handed him some. He was way more interested in the paper unless the toy lit up or sang. He pretty much stroked every box and tried to eat it. It was quite the sight to see! In the end, he was so tired he passed out for three hours. Which I was completely okay with, I had blogging to do and other stuff.

Well, that's about as much as an update as I have time for. Liam is up and angry, and yelling at me to pick him up so we can finished eating and go to bed.

Night Ya'll.

PHOTO BOMB!!!

And Below he is obsessed with this toy from the Essarys!

I tried to steal some love...but he didn't get the memo.

He cared more about the wrapping paper...seriously.

Below: "BUT MOM..WAITTT..":

We gave him all the wrapping paper in the world. He wasn't too thrilled after that sensory overload..
